Firstly, this has nothing to do with Cricket.
Rosemary Zirker and her friend Eileen (both trained as nurses together in the 1960’s, are taking part in the Captain Tom 100 Challenge and want to bake and sell 100 cakes by the end of May. All proceeds from the sale of the cakes will go to Hospiscare a local charity that most of you will know. Basically, Rosemary and Eileen provide the ingredients, bake and deliver the cakes on the requested date and you pay £5 (recommended donation) which all goes to Hospiscare.
The Choices of cakes are as follows.
Victoria Sponge Cake with a plain, coffee or chocolate flavour – your choice.
Lemon Drizzle Cake
Fruit Cake
Ginger Cake
8 Scones
8 Rock Cakes
Fruit Crumble.
To order your cake just ring us on 01395 567430, or text/phone on 07802 755411 or email rf.zirker@btinternet.com, stating how many cakes you want and when you want them delivered plus of course a delivery address. If you do not want to buy a cake but want to give a contribution towards ingredients, then simply call Rosemary.
