Some of you may have heard about this already but this is just official confirmation that The Playing Field Trust has informed the club that there will be a £20 charge made for the cleaning of the toilets and facilities at the Riverside and Pavillion. This is to allow for a professional cleaning firm to be hired to clean down after each use and will remain in place until further notice. The club's management committee has considered this and has concluded that there is little choice but to charge all players (including away teams) a £1 COVID fee at each home match to cover this cost. We will continue to seek alternative funding and work with the Playing Field to reach a position where this fee is not required as soon as it is allowable. For those that have already paid match fees by bank transfer, there is no requirement to pay more at this stage. Isaac Thomas will be tracking all team sheets and fees paid and will update you when additional fees are due. He will simply take the additional fee from monies already paid. If you have not already paid memberships fees you must be selected. If you have not yet paid any match fees directly I would urge you to do so to avoid sorting cash on match days. Thanks.
