The more keen-eyed of you will have spotted that the 6th of September is now the date for the Ian French Memorial fixture against Sidmouth. Ian was a long-serving member of the cricket family-supporting Sidmouth CC over many years in many ways. He was also often found umpiring and supporting NPCC and as such the two clubs aim to remember him.
Please update your availability for this match.
For this match, the Club will ask that tea is provided for each NPCC player by the Sidmouth Catering team. The cost of this will come from membership fees already paid. Ie. A £5 match fee for this match will be deducted from membership fees paid and there will be no charge on the day.
There is also the opportunity for players and supporters to order and pay for additional food before or after the match directly should they wish to do. I attach menu information. The match will be scheduled for a 1 pm start and the Sidmouth Club bar will be open from 12 noon.

"I usually ask the players (etc) to come in and order their teas with me directly on the day which then means I can ask the relevant questions (allergy and COVID related) and answer any questions - this is best done on the day unless anyone has a particularly specific requirement; they need to do this BEFORE the match starts.
I usually arrive an hour before the match starts as there is usually very little call for me to provide anything before then; if you tell me differently then this can be changed.
The spectators can order their food whenever they want it and it’s usually ready in 10 mins. If I have to be there for the player's teas then I will be open for orders from the start of the match until (roughly) an hour after the match - I always do two walkarounds to make sure people have 30 mins notice of the kitchen closing and then again at the 10 min mark so hopefully, this means that if people hang around after the match, they will not miss out."
