Please note that the minutes remain a draft until fully accepted at the next AGM.
It was positive to see so many attending via Zoom yesterday and gives us hope for the season.
The meeting took place before todays announcements. The Club Management Committee will review
todays information and that which will follow from the ECB. Further communications will follow in the
coming weeks regarding how and when we will start the season. But at least it does now appear a
start will happen in some form.
Below follows a summary of the issues and actions from yesterdays meeting.
- Club Management committee to discuss and plan an appropriate way of honouring
Pete Parkinson, who sadly passed recently.
- 2020 Officials of the clubs re-elected with no changes for 2021.
- George House to act as a COVID Coordinator for the 2021 season to assist the Club Management
Committee to plan and implement any regulations.
- The club has now created a clear definition for the annual membership cycle. Club Membership
will now run from 31 March to 31 March each year. Members should aim to renew membership
on or around this date each year.
- There was an increase in membership fees for 2021 approved.
Senior membership subscription = £30.
Junior membership subscription = £20.
- To avoid the need to handle cash for 2021. The members will be requested to pay subscriptions
and matches fees direct by bank transfer to avoid cash. Antony Cox to work with Isaac Thomas to
record fees received against matches played by members and inform Ed of expected income and
members of required fees for games played. Further information including club bank details will be
sent out shortly.
- The Club Management Committee will announce on a preseason ground workday once it is
clear when this can take place.
